We can help with a huge range of oil sealed vacuum pumps, dry compressing vacuum pumps, roots vacuum pumps, oil free vacuum pumps and pumps designed for use in clean food and packaging applications.

Types of Vacuum Pumps

  • Oil Sealed Rotary Vane Pumps – oil sealed rotary vane pumps are being used in almost all areas of vacuum engineering. They are suited for both industrial production and research applications. They are often used to generate a rough, medium sized vacuum, or as an additional backing pump used in a combination with roots blowers or high vacuum pumps. Our range of SOGEVAC rotary vane pumps are primarily designed as single stage units but can also be made available in dual stage configurations as well on request. Our range of TRIVAC rotary vane pumps are designed to act solely as dual stage vacuum pumps. The ultimate pressure ranges and comprehensive pumping speeds are depending on the model selected.

  • Dry Compressing Vacuum Pumps – our selection of dry compressing or "dry screw" vacuum pumps is largely based around the VARODRY series, which has been specifically designed for industrial processes. This latest generation of dry screw pumps may vacuum operations easy, efficient and reliable. These vacuum pumps are dry compressing pumps where no lubricants can get into contact with the pumping media and therefore an absolute hydrocarbon free vacuum is the result. On request, we can offer different types of dry compressing vacuum pumps which vary in the principle of operation and are used in different fields of application: diaphragm pumps DIVAC, scroll pumps SCROLLVAC as well as screw type pumps SCREWLINE and DRYVAC.

  • Roots Vacuum Pumps – For many years now, roots vacuum pumps have been well established in multiple areas of vacuum technology. Usually used in combination with backing pumps, which compress against the atmosphere, these pumps offer end users a wide variety of advantages. Our range of RUVAC vacuum pumps, which are also called roots blowers, are rotary plunger type pumps where two symmetrically shaped impellors rotate in opposite directions inside the pump housing. Roots pumps are used where great volumes must be pumped. In combination with backing pumps, these pumps can improve the attainable pressure of a system up to a factor of 10. With two roots vacuum pump stages and a corresponding backing pump it is possible to attain pressures in the range down to 10-5 mbar (0.75•10-5 Torr). RUVAC pumps can be offered in different models with different motor concepts.

  • Vacuum Pumps for Food and Packaging Applications – we can offer both the SOGEVAC FP and VARODRY vacuum pumps in specific designs for all food processing and clean packaging applications. These vacuum pumps have been designed as the perfect choice where either oil free or NSF H1 certified food grade oil is required.

Additionally, on special request we can also help with high vacuum pumps, cryogenic vacuum pumps and completely bespoke vacuum systems tailored to your needs.

As well as supplying brand new vacuum pumps, we can also help with manufacturer-certified refurbished solutions, genuine spare parts, design and calculation services and accessories including fittings, couplings, adapters, filters, condensate traps, valves, gauges, level sensors and more.

Vacuum Pumps

Where are Vacuum Pumps used?

Our vacuum pumps can be considering for many demanding industrial, high purity and R&D type applications across a broad selection of industries, including:

  • Industrial Processes – by “industrial applications” we are referring to a wide range of production processes that require vacuum technology. Some typical applications can include heat treatment, metallurgy/steel degassing, lithium-ion battery production, energy transformation & charging and industrial drying processes. Our pumps are designed to be used in the most challenging environments.

  • Food & Packaging – nothing would work without vacuum in the food & packaging industries. It is not only needed for hermetically sealed packaging, but also for food production and processing. We have a specific line of vacuum pumps designed with clean food & packaging applications in mind.

  • Coating – surface coating is an indispensable part of modern product manufacturing. From wear protection on mechanical components to the coating of optical components and the metallisation of plastic surfaces, these processes take place under vacuum conditions. Specific examples include optical coatings (for filters, lenses, spectacle lenses or mirrors), architectural & glass coatings (for buildings or automobiles), wear protection & decorative coatings (for reducing friction or providing added safety) and film coating (for electronics, display technology and photovoltaics).

  • Research & Development – extensive research & development projects often precedes great technological breakthroughs and vacuum technology plans in important role in many fields such as high energy physics, space research, surface & material sciences and many more. Our broad variety of vacuum components and solutions are often required to meet the challenging demands of new, niche applications.

  • Solar Technology – from silicon crystal pulling, to the production of solar cells, to the lamination of solar modules – these manufacturing processes are not possible without vacuum. The market is driven by modern communication tools like smartphones, tablets, flat panel displays for TV or the Internet of Things. Be it Cluster Tools, Implanters, Etch or PECVD for Chip production – we can help you to find a high quality and reliable vacuum solution.

  • Semiconductor – electronics belong to the modern everyday life and it is no longer possible to imagine living without it. Most of the high integrated circuits in computers, smart phones, cars, home control devices and medical equipment among many others are based on semiconductor technology. This is also valid to produce renewable energy via solar modules. Most of these harsh processes demand reliable and stable vacuum conditions.

  • Analytics – modern systems for analytics rely on highly sophisticated technology. Especially applications relating to mass spectrometry and the medical sector demand a perfect fit of all components. The turbo molecular pumps of the latest generation help to increase throughput and enhance system efficiency.

  • Displays – the development of flat panel displays for TV, computer, tablets and smartphones during the last decade has been extremely dynamic and the applications demands are ever increasing. Touch screens and intelligent surfaces have become a part of our daily life. Numerous production steps in these applications require vacuum conditions with highest reliability, quality and optimised cost of ownership.
