WEKA CRYOGENIC BELLOWS VALVES

In the cryogenic version, bellows sealed valves have a vacuum weld-in flange for assembly in a vacuum-insulated cold box or line. Typically, they have an extended stem (cryogenic length) of 875 mm and are designed in angle or straight-through pattern. Valves are made available either with a positioner and a pneumatic actuator, a manual hand-wheel actuator or an electric actuator, used to open/close it or to regulate the flow of the fluid.

Due to the high-quality metal bellows design, the valve is closed off to the environment/atmosphere with an exceptional leak tightness rating, ensuring reliability and safety.

Various options, such as a thermal connections to an 80K shield, limit switches for the position feedback, use in a radiation environment or in magnetic fields, special connection dimensions or optimisation of the heat incidence are available on request.

The corresponding warm (amvient) valve is designed without the weld-in flange, nor a cryogenic extended length, serving as a for the feed of gaseous, warm fluid into a cold box.
